CurveMenu CS Quick Start

Pre-Request:

Prepared images and xml.

Images with Photoshop xml.

Images from Flickr.

Images with custom xml.

 

1. Import a CurveMenu CS component.

Open the "Components Panel", menu "Windows > Components".

 

Drag the CurveMenu CS on the stage from the Components Panel and resize it when needed.

 

Select the CurveMenu CS on the stage and name it with instance name, said "curvemenu_cs".

 

2. Fill in the necessary parameter.

Open the Component Inspector, menu "Windows > Component Inspector".

In the source page, fill in the source URL in the XML created.

 

!!Important!! Due to crossdomain security issue in Flash Player 9+. You must fill in the proxy script here in order to make FotoTunnel CS function correctly for cross domain access. You can download the proxy script and get more information here, Server-side proxy method. If your PhotoFLIP and photo are under the same domain, it is no need to fill in the proxy field.



 

Loading option
Use the thumnail in the xml - Use the thumbnail image to build the FotoTILE.
Auto start after loaded - start automatically after source changed.


3D Setting

Curvature - The degree occupy by the circular items.
Prefered Width- Standard width of pictures
Prefered Height - Standard height of pictures
Item Scale Ratio -  The magnification scale of side items
Count In One Side - Number of items show in each side
Item Distance - Distance between each side item
Center Item Scale - The magnification scale of center item
Center Item Distance - Distance between centre item and nearby item

 

 Set the interactive option for the tunnel.

 

Set the external control for the tunnel

 

3. Test the movie.

Press Ctrl+Enter or menu "Control > Test Movie" to start testing the menu.
